This wooden Bio Sculpture® Small Tapered Nail File 150/220g has a course side and a fine side which is exactly what you need to knock off those pesky breaks then refine with the finer side to smooth it down.
Best results, file in one direction first (kind of like strokes) and use the length of the file to break more length down faster, then when it comes to the refining part/shaping, then go back in with little left-right movements to create perfection.
Nail files are great for after clipping your nails, because a nail clippers can leave little sharp bits that catch on clothing or fabrics etc - so this will be your best friend for that too
