i was working on my client, a reporter, who said she had a function coming up for work and wanted a happy colour - so we chose SUNSHINE YELLOW
whilst roaming around at the function, her hands and toes captured the eyes of Jenna Clarke a reporter from The West Australian. she asked my client, "where did you get your nails done?" my client happily exclaimed, "TOEJAMM!"
who would have guessed this would have lead to an email landing in my inbox requesting a photoshoot and an interview! so grateful to have been given this opportunity and featured in one of the oldest forms of media three years into my business *also to be published on the same day as the queen, Titled "A Picture of Strength" - ironic, two different situations, same message... yes i am all about the signs!

such a special day all round, this was also a service for my client who was getting married that very weekend and she put her hand up to be in photos! this photo was published to the online version of the article - eeep! i'm everywhere!

such a throwback - this photo displays the old studio setup and my two-tone hair! yes it was naturally that long, do i miss this colour? YES!
HAD MY SAY
8:20AM Sunday, 18 April 2021, i drove to the east perth bp service station, purchased 10 newspapers, to give one to EVERY family member and keep a few for myself (because HELLO!! i was in the newspaper!!)
and there it was, in the flesh, that fresh newspaper smell, a photo of me along with two other artists in perth ā i got to have my say about the nail industry, how my business survived COVID and how the pandemic made me realise what to focus on for the future of my business
such a milestone moment!

hard work pays off
never in a million years did i think a business i created would make its way into the newspaper. this moment wasn't just celebrating a milestone - it was a display of how far i've come, what iāve conquered and the commitment to keep moving forward no matter what is thrown at me
from 15 jobs across multiple industries, to taking a risk of starting perth's FIRST pedicure focused salon from the bedroom of my apartment in 2018... to featuring one day a week in a beauty studio, then full time in a skin clinic and eventually securing a store front 3 years right outside of COVID in June 2020, i couldn't be prouder of what i've built with the determination i have
i've provided services to clients who've visited from all corners of the globe to get their feet restored with me and am now inspiring and guiding others in the industry to do the same, by making pedicures more of the focus in their service offerings and continuing to restore one toe at a time
looking forward to the next chapter of my journey
