2 OPTIONS 

1. Use Dry: In the shower before turning on the water, sand your heels down, then no toe/foot flakes will be flying around the room and you can easily wash down the shower once your done #winning

Use Wet: Towards the end of your shower, depending how deep the cracks in your heels are or callus build up on the big toe or side of your foot is, you would then go in with the course side first (light pressure to start to get used to the file, then apply more pressure as needed) however, if you only have a little bit of dryness here and there, use the fine side only and you'll be good to go!

Expert Tip: If you do use the foot file during your shower and didn't feel that it gave you that baby smoothness you were looking for, wait till your feet are WELL dry, then go in with the fine side of the paddle to knock off those little skin flakes still holding on for dear life.
